Friends or Foes

We all come to the point where we aks ourselves if the people we know are our friends or our biggest foes...Looking back I've always tried doing my best to help my so-called friends - no matter if we're talking about moral help or money.And I've lived with the thought that if Ím not in a mood I can ALWATYS rely on them,. just as they have relied on me!
But no- life is not a fairytale, it's a battlefield!You can rely on yourself only.Bitter. huh!>!

The Bloody Lady of Čachtice

Time for some history :)
A few years ago I watched some stupid American movie 'Stay Alive'. As 99.9 % of the new horror movies, it was pretty boring and over the top. However, there was something that grabbed my attention - the story for Elizabeth Bathory. It sounded so weird that I thought the makers of the movie had made up the story about her but still checked the net and Voilà, there she was.
To cut the long story short, mainly, most of the time,pretty often Ms Bathory was bathing herself in young lasses' blood.She had decided one day that she is getting too older and went crazy how on earth can this happen. So she thought it will be nice if she started killing young girls and bathe in their blood. How sweet of her!
By the way I just have to droll over her name in Czech - Alžběta Báthoryová... Anyway, I guess there are lots of material in the net so I should most probably go to read some more about her :)

A Pressure I Can't Hide

Dear Diary...right..or dear blog...

Anyway, I hate losing people/creatures I love - no matter if I lose them physically or mentally. Somehow, both of these things are losts but which one is stronger?
I mean, if you lose someone mentally, because of differences in the way of thinking, you can always bring them back, even by pretending(believe me).
But what if we do lose someone physically? He/She/It just disapeeras from the horizon, he/she/it is no more...what do we do? Sit down and watch in denial, continue our miserable lives as if they have always been so sad, kill ourselves?
Let me tell you, I've always wanted to be the one who doesn't care, who doesn't give a fuck, who does not have some strong thoughts and feelings behing her stubborness ,seemingly stupid head.But it has always been there and I'm tired of denying that.
The wisdom of fools is easy to learn, some say, but that's probably the hardest thing you can ever learn. Preaching to be part of ' the other side' is the hardest lesson ever....
The easiest thing is to be who you are ;)

Headache and Tarja Turunen :)

Sometimes I wish I just could let go of everything. How can everything be so damn hard? All I want at the moment is to play the piano but it has to wait til the end of the week ;( And I feel the inspiration for new lyrics and melodies is starting to fill me again after more than 1 year :) Hep Hep :)
Anyway.... Monday was like the best day since sooo long! We had verrry special guests - Furnaze, Kings Of Modesty and the one and only Ms the-queen-of-ice Tarja Turunen.
FIrst on stage came Furnaze.And I was like - WTF!?! Amazing musicians!!! I was so lucky to see Andie Cayne after the concert and talk to her and of coorse, taking a photo and a signed CD!

After them we enjoyed the Finns from Kings Of Modesty :) And I had a brief meeting and a very pleasant conversation with the very nice Rane :)))

What can I say about Tarja that hasn't been said yet? Perfect singer, very cool woman. This time I succeeded in shaking her hand :) Too bad I couldn't catch her for a photo later but whatever! Photos and videos later - now out with my Attila :)

... and it rains like hell...

First wanna mention one amazing and I think underrated band - SHOCKING BLUE. Such amazing artists, I have no words, thanks God I found them by chance.Still wonder how can a song created something like 20-30 years ago, be sooo freaking good that we still like it nowadays.Cmon, aren't we children of denial? Seems there are treasures stronger than our stubborness... :) Only can be happy about that.And Mariska.... the perfect woman! Rest In Peace, Beauty!
I'll return later to Shocking Blue.Soon hopefully ;)
Now what I'm aiming for.One great author - William Hughes Mearns! God, thanks God again I watched 'Identity' with the one and only John Cusack( which btw reminds me I should write 1-2 words about Wentworth Miller, Val Kilmer, Sergey Bezrukov and whoever not :D..it's good we atill have good actors :)))
Anyway, here are a few poems by Mr Mearns! Poetry and nothing more to say.

Antigonish

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away...

When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn’t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door... (slam!)

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away

Two Dead Boys

“Ladies and Gentlemen, skinny and stout,
I’ll tell you a tale I know nothing about;
The Admission is free, so pay at the door,
Now pull up a chair and sit on the floor.

One fine day in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight;
Back to back they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other.

A blind man came to watch fair play,
A mute man came to shout “Horray!”
A deaf policeman heard the noise and
Came to stop those two dead boys.

He lived on the corner in the middle of the block,
In a two-story house on a vacant lot;
A man with no legs came walking by,
and kicked the lawman in his thigh.

He crashed through a wall without making a sound,
into a dry creek bed and suddenly drowned;
The long black hearse came to cart him away,
But he ran for his life and is still gone today.

I watched from the corner of the big round table,
The only eyewitness to facts of my fable;
But if you doubt my lies are true,
Just ask the blind man, he saw it too.”
